Mae Ang was born in Singapore in 1991 and pursued her passion for architecture at the National University of Singapore (NUS), graduating with a Master of Architecture degree in 2015. During her studies, she participated in an exchange program at Southeast University in Nanjing, China, further expanding her architectural perspective.
Her interest in architectural graphics developed during her time as a student editor for PaperSpace, a student-initiated publication within her faculty, in 2012. Mae also gained international experience during a one-week design collaboration with MVRDV in Rotterdam, Netherlands, in 2016, for JTC’s Woodlands North Coast Development.
In 2021, Mae joined ArMo Design Studio and is now a registered architect with the Board of Architects Singapore. She has worked on concept designs and design developments for masterplans, and her experience spans residential (landed and non-landed), institutional, industrial, and conservation projects. Mae's expertise also includes design and project management across various sectors.
